Land Rover Ninety / One Ten / 127 2.5 Diesel Turbo (19J): drain fuel sedimenter / water trap
Fuel & air · Ninety / One Ten / 127 (1983–90) · 1986–1990
How often: every 6,000 mi or 6 months, whichever comes first. Water in diesel corrodes the injection pump. Drain it before it gets there.
Work safely: support the vehicle on axle stands, never a jack alone; let it cool first. Check figures against your workshop manual. You do this work at your own risk.

Step by step
Find the sedimenter (usually on the chassis rail, inside the left or right front wheel arch).
Slacken the drain tap at the bottom and let it run into a container until clean diesel comes out with no water.
Close the tap. If a lot of water came out, drain again after a week and check your fuel source.
