Range Rover Evoque L551 2.0 Ingenium diesel (mild hybrid on most): haldex coupling oil & filter
Transmission · Range Rover Evoque L551 (2019 on) · 2019 on
How often: every 36,000 mi or 3 yrs, whichever comes first. The coupling that sends drive to the rear axle relies on clean oil and a working pump. Neglect leaves the vehicle front-drive only and can damage the rear drive unit.
Many specialists advise this every 3 years or so; Land Rover's own schedule is longer.
Work safely: support the vehicle on axle stands, never a jack alone; let it cool first. Check figures against your workshop manual. You do this work at your own risk.
Drain the coupling and clean or renew its filter where fitted.
Refill with the specified fluid.
Check the rear diff and PTU for leaks while you're under there.
