Terms of use
Bulkhead Workshop · Last updated 27 October 2026. By using Bulkhead Workshop you agree to these terms. They're short, so please read them.
What this site is
Bulkhead Workshop is a free website, run by an individual in the UK, with maintenance schedules, service intervals, part numbers, workshop guides, fixes and specifications for Land Rover vehicles. It gives general information for owners. It is not professional advice, and using it doesn't create a professional relationship with us. Bulkhead Workshop is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Land Rover, Jaguar Land Rover or any parts retailer. Land Rover, Range Rover, Defender, Discovery, Freelander, Evoque and Velar are trademarks of their owners.
Check before you rely on it
- Intervals, fluids, capacities, torque settings, part numbers and fitment come from public sources. They can be wrong, out of date, incomplete or wrong for your vehicle.
- You're responsible for checking anything against the official workshop manual for your vehicle, and your chassis/VIN number, before you buy parts or start work.
- Fault finding and AI diagnosis are suggestions only, and the AI can be wrong. Don't drive a vehicle with a suspected brake, steering, suspension, wheel or fuel-leak fault: have it checked by a qualified mechanic.
- If you're unsure about any job, ask a qualified mechanic.
Working on your vehicle
Working on vehicles is dangerous. Support the vehicle on axle stands, never on a jack alone, let the engine and exhaust cool, wear eye protection, and dispose of oils and fluids properly. Any work you carry out, or have carried out, using information from this site is at your own risk.
Our liability
- The site is provided free and "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, accurate or free of errors.
- As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from using the site or relying on its information, including damage to your vehicle, the cost of parts that don't fit, or the cost of putting work right.
- If we are found liable despite this, our total liability to you is limited to £100.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited under the law of England and Wales.
Your records
The vehicles and service history you add are kept in your own browser. Nobody checks them, and they can be lost if you clear your browser's data, so keep your own receipts and service book too.
Using the site fairly
- Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break it, overload it, copy it wholesale or scrape it with automated tools, and don't use diagnosis or the number plate lookup for anything other than your own enquiries.
- The site, its design, its text and its code belong to us. Sources and other sites' content belong to their owners.
Ads, parts sellers and other sites
The site is paid for by ads from Google. We don't control the ads or the sites they link to. Links to parts sellers and other websites are for convenience: prices, stock and fitment are the seller's own, so check them before you order, and we're not responsible for their content. See the privacy policy for how ads and cookies work.
Changes
We may change the site or these terms at any time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
